Enthusiasm for Living!

In order to create, you must stir the enthusiasm inside you. Yes, you do have enthusiasm. And you have creative skills!

Perhaps you describe it as mere keeness or interest, but it is there - something that thrills your inner man - something waiting for you to bring it forth; something waiting for you to awaken it and begin to use it! Inside each of us is a fervor, a passion, an excitement over at least one thing in life! Otherwise, you are dead!

I believe it is our 'job', our role as a creator to put our hands to the pump of enthusiasm and push it up and down until we get a constant flow of anticipation, of zeal, of animation, of pure pleasure!

So, if you are sitting there, in the dumps, in depression, in the mully-grubs, in negative pessimism, get up! Get going! Get enthused! Think on something beautiful! Remember something that gave you great pleasure and zero in on it! Then, stir your imagination to multiply that wondrous thing. Smile on it! If you have to take your fingers and turn you mouth up at the corners, do so! Smile. Say, "ha ha ha!" If you will practice this, you will awaken that enthusiasm and optimism inside your soul. You will look forward to the next moment, the next hour, the next day!

Life is bright! Enjoy it! Get enthused!
