This is one of the angels I painted who, I perceive, is leaving our atmosphere for heaven. I believe he is going for a fresh anointing, a re-charge. Although he still glows with God's power, he is leaving the darkness of this earth behind and faces that glorious light coming from Jesus seated with the Father on God's Throne. You know, we get glimpses of God's glory on this earth, but it is nothing to compare with the overwhelming, awesome, magnificence of the full Light we will get to see in heaven. This is a wonderful place. It is another planet or dimension, but I believe it is much larger than earth - and is large enough to hold billions of people and even more angels! I think it is an exciting place, full of activity and beauty and enjoyable things to do. I do not believe we will just sit on a cloud playing a harp! I believe there are mansions and neighborhoods, rivers and lakes, animals and parks, places to learn and places to play, places to dine. I think it is a delightful place where we will have time to visit with friends and loved ones without time constraint....or we can sit by a pond and fish as long as we want. But the best part of all is that we will get to see Jesus face to face and we can be in His presence and experience His love and learn at His feet as often as we desire!
