One of my paintings, "Blessed Sunrise", gives me hope of a new day, a new horizon, a new expectation, a new walk with God, a renewed faith in all that is good! I look at this, and I realize that a day which began in utter darkness has now exploded into breathtaking light! And as the sun (or God's Son) intensifies in my darkness, then that darkness is dispelled and my entire outlook is full of His light! I encourage you to allow Jesus, who IS Light, brighten the gloom of your day. One scripture, Romans 8:31, says, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" There is only one catch: This begins to work only when we believe it! So, believe that God is FOR you! Believe He loves you and wants to make everything in your life brighter, like this sunrise!

Sunrise is my favorite time of day, too! There is something in an awesome dawnbreaking that simply takes your breath away!
