Forest at Dawn

"Forest at Dawn" is a wonderful place to think on God's glory! I considered, when I painted this painting, that it should reflect the wonders of His light, His warmth, His sovereignty! In the quiet morning, the ceiling of the dark forest breaks into glorious, breathtaking light as the dawn overcomes the night, the light overcomes the darkness, the glory overcomes the mundane! As you stare at the central light, focus on the rays, on the reflections. The light travels through the forest quickly, lighting first the leaves, then the upper branches, then the trunks and finally, the floor. So it is with us. We receive God's enlightenment on our inner heart, then it begins to spread to our spirit, soul and body. God has wonders for us to behold, wonders for us to drink in, wonders for us with every new dawn, every new day!
