GENUINE HUMILITY

Humility is not weakness. It isn't even meekness as we usually perceive meekness.
How do we know if we are humble?
Humility is reaching out - for help, for companionship, for comfort.
Humility is the honor you give others and your delicate treatment of them.
Humility is sincere strength - without feeling compelled to show you are strong.
Humility is calm self assurance minus arrogance or egotism - without the need for recognition.
Humility is the greatest virtue of leadership.
Humility is laying down pride and turning off self.
Perhaps genuine humility is the necessity of Jesus Christ in our everyday lives, of laying our lives before Him, saying "I need You!"
Who do you think of when you hear the word humility?
